Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nuance.
Account Executive
Went through several phone interviews, then got flown out for a final presentation. There were seven interviews in total. I didn't get an offer and I guess I wasn't the candidate they were looking for, which is odd because it's a good company that cares about hiring the right people. What really bothered me was not hearing back from HR, the recruiter, or management about the status of my application after they promised an update. It felt like they just didn't care enough to even let me know I lost. They lost my respect for that.
- Tell me about how you handle various challenging scenarios.
- How do you approach working with different partners?
- What are your strategies for managing your time effectively?
Business Development Executive
I went through a three-step interview process. First, I had a call with the global recruiter, who was really helpful the whole way through. They gave me some advice on what kind of questions to expect and kept me updated on everything.
- Questions about the process
- Behavioral questions
- Questions about my personality
Account Executive
The interview process was really long and drawn out. I interviewed with about six people, both over the phone and in person. They all seemed to have different insights and things to share. Some asked really tough questions and presented scenarios where I had to explain my approach. It was a very long and tedious process overall.
- You had to do presentations multiple times using test scenarios.
