Technical Behavioral

I was a back-up candidate and went through two rounds of technical interviews, which I passed. However, they didn't extend an offer because they found another candidate with a shorter notice period. The HR person mentioned that my feedback was really positive but they were proceeding with the other candidate due to the notice period. They said they'd reach out if that candidate didn't join or if other opportunities came up.

The first round had basic QA questions like sql joins/testcases for ATM/severity -priority. The second round was with the PM and focused more on functionality testing/scenario based questions, like how to handle too many testcases to execute and no bandwidth. The third round was with the Director and focused more on my resume. They highlighted what I have not done in the last 6yrs, which seemed to be a tactic to lower salary expectations. The fourth round was with the QA director from the US, where I had to explain my current project's tech stack/functionality.
