As an experienced professional in the German market I can say comparing to the competitors Nuance's process was very smooth. I was impressed of how reactive and professional Nuance was with the whole interview process, applied with the super easy to use jobs website. 1 day later got a reply from a very nice recruiter from the UK after that the interviews were simple and very informative at the same time, which is much appreciated.

I had a quick phone screen with HR to start, and they then scheduled a second phone screen with the hiring manager. After that, I had an in-person interview at their Burlington, MA headquarters with the hiring manager, his boss, and two other team members. The interviews went well, but what was really disappointing was the complete lack of communication from Nuance after the process. They didn't even bother to let me know they had moved on with other candidates, which is surprising for a company of their size and with a dedicated HR department.

The interview process was professional and friendly. There were multiple interview rounds involving people from different management levels. The working environment seems okay, but people tend to work long hours. There appears to be a resource shortage contributing to many open positions.

  • Tell me about your expectations regarding working long hours.
