The interview process involved a case study and in-person interviews. I had to create a list of clients to approach, and the interview process really mirrored the job description. The people I interacted with were very nice and welcoming, and they were good at communicating about the process and timeline.

The interview started with them asking if I was moving home since the job was at my home address. I mentioned I was looking for more back-end analytics work. A culture survey indicated my preferences aligned with an independent and introverted work style. The hiring manager felt I might not be a good fit but offered to forward my resume to the analytics team, which was nice to see they'd consider switching offers based on comfort.

It was a 3-stage process. First, an HR screening where they went over the company and the role. Then, an interview with the director for a more detailed explanation of the role. Finally, a discussion about potential clients to use in the business. The people were easygoing and had a salesperson vibe.

Talked to a recruiter over the phone. They asked pretty standard questions. It was nice that they brought up potential issues before I even had to ask about them. They were very clear from the start that you'd need to find clients through your own connections.

  • Can you tell me about your current employment situation?
  • Would you describe yourself as having an entrepreneurial spirit?
