Behavioral Technical Presentation

This application process went from bad to worse. I initially applied & interviewed with a recruiter in January 2025. I was told I would be moving on to a hiring manager interview & would be contacted within the next few days to schedule. I never heard back, so I sent a follow-up email & got no response. I sent a few more in the following weeks with again no response. At the end of January 2026 I got an email apologizing for the delay, but they migrated to a new HR system & that mine was one of several applications that fell through the cracks, and asked if I was still interested. He also mentioned that he was no longer the recruiter for this position & copied in his replacement. I replied to the replacement saying I was still interested. He quickly sent me time options to interview with him. We met & he said the hiring manager had asked to interview me specifically. We got that set up & I interviewed with him. It went very well & he advised I would be contacted for peer interviews and a project to complete & present. I interviewed with 2 peers & they also went very well with one even stating if it were up to him, I'd be starting Monday. Then I never heard back about completing & presentation of the project which was the final step. I reached out asking if there was a status. No reply. I sent another a week later, no response. A few days later I got a form letter explaining I wasn't chosen to move forward. No explanation, no reason, no personalized email....a form letter.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The hiring journey for a Senior Consultant typically kicks off with an initial chat with HR about your background, experience, and what the job entails. Next up are one or two deep dives where they'll check out your technical skills, consulting background, and how you tackle problems. You might also have to do a case study or give a presentation to show how you'd handle real client issues. Usually, the last step is an interview with the higher-ups or partners to see your leadership potential, if you're a good fit for the company culture, and your strategic thinking abilities.

Behavioral Technical

The recruiter was quick and friendly, moving me along fast. I spoke with them, the hiring manager, some future coworkers, and then had a fourth round with two more people. The interviews felt fair, thorough, and positive - I didn't see any issues with my qualifications. But, after that, communication totally fell apart. The recruiter wouldn't answer my emails about job details or timelines, only calling to set up the next steps. Three weeks after my last interview, I heard nothing. I sent several polite emails asking for an update, but got no response. Only when I copied an interviewer on my last email did I get a rejection that same morning. Looking at Glassdoor, this ghosting thing is common here. Honestly, this unprofessional hiring process was a good thing - it shows a lack of basic politeness and respect, so I'm glad I won't be working for this company.

Technical Coding Behavioral

The interview process usually starts with a technical test, which is typically done online through platforms like HackerRank, CoCubes, or the company's own portal. This is followed by a technical interview where they will really dig into your projects and core subjects such as OOP, DBMS, OS, and DSA. You'll likely be asked to code on the spot and discuss any tools or frameworks you've used, like React, Node.js, or Java. They're also interested in your problem-solving approach, so be ready to explain how you think. Finally, there's an HR interview to check your communication skills, attitude, and if you're a good culture fit for the company.
