Technical Coding Behavioral

This was a pretty tough interview process with 6 interviews and one test. I had two technical interviews, and then four more with management, HR, and team members. The job is hybrid, requiring 2 days in the office and the rest remote. The offered salary is below average, but the team seemed genuinely nice and passionate about the product.

So, there were 3 rounds in total. First was an aptitude round, then a technical round, and finally an HR round. The technical round focused on networking, OS, and SQL. Each round was an elimination round. The aptitude section had two parts: the first part was about OS, RAM, and floppy disks, and the second part was mathematical aptitude.

I applied for a technical support engineer role, but the acquisition team suggested I could be considered for a senior position given my profile. They mentioned the junior position would be a backup if I didn't succeed in the senior track. However, after that, the acquisition team never followed up. You have to keep asking them for updates.

  • Can you explain how you approach reading logs?
  • What do you know about SIP?
