Customer Development Manager
I talked to 3 people from the team and one from HR. They mostly asked behavioral questions about soft skills. You need to answer concisely using the STAR method. I was told another candidate structured their answers better, which is why I got moved down the list. It was annoying that how I answered was a factor instead of being evaluated on skills and experience.

Lead Data Scientist
Right after applying, I got an email from the AI scheduler, Olive, to set up the first chat with HR. It was around 30 mins, mostly going over my resume and asking a couple of behavioral questions. The HR person was super nice and explained what's next really well. A week after that, I got an invite for the second interview with the hiring manager. This one was more technical but still behavioral, asking for examples from my past work. I'd say look up the company and think about experiences that match the job. Then, about two weeks later, they asked for my availability for the final panel interviews. The first panel was with senior leadership, who went over what the role really entails. They wanted to see how my experience, skills, and goals fit with their expectations and check my leadership skills, all through behavioral questions. The second panel was the most technical, with a senior team member. We talked about my technical chops and did some thought experiments, like when to choose complex over basic ML and other ways to solve made-up issues. The whole thing felt put together and they communicated clearly at each step, making sure to check both my technical and leadership sides.
- Can you share an instance where securing stakeholder approval was challenging yet essential for a project's success?
- Describe a situation where obtaining buy-in from stakeholders proved difficult but was crucial for the project's success.
Data Analyst
I applied with a referral and they reached out to schedule a phone screening about 2.5 weeks after I submitted my application. The phone screen got cancelled minutes before it was supposed to start, so I had to reschedule it for the next day. The phone screen went pretty well, and they said they'd get back to me in 2-3 days. I followed up about 10 days later, but didn't hear back. It's been another 10 days since my follow-up attempt. It's pretty unprofessional to ghost applicants, especially after starting the interview process.

Sales Representative
The recruiter was really nice and talked a lot about company benefits instead of interviewing me. They said we'd start with introductions, but instead, they asked why I left my old jobs. The recruiter told me my introduction was too long, about 15 minutes, and should have been 7-8 minutes, so I didn't feel like I got to introduce myself properly. The recruiter also gave me nearly two pages of notes for the next interview, telling me exactly what to say and do after I got the offer to move forward. They liked my personality but said to keep my answers short and avoid details, which is hard because I'm from the South and tend to talk a lot and overexplain when trying to impress. I also had to research the other two recruiters and the company for the second interview within about 14 hours, which isn't much time to get to know people and a company. I think I could have done better if I'd had a chance to introduce myself and more time to prepare for the camera team interview. It seems like a good company, but definitely research it before applying and know a lot beforehand so you have less to study if you move forward.
