Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nestlé USA.
Engineer
It was a great interview experience where it really felt like the employers wanted to get to know me. They told me a lot about the company and made it a conversation. They were very polite and patient, and didn't seem to want scripted answers, but rather to truly understand my experiences.
- Can you share your proudest accomplishment?
- Can you describe a time you had a disagreement with your manager?
Packaging Engineer
I applied online and then got an email to schedule a phone interview. Before I could even respond to their scheduling email, they sent me an invite for the 'Nestle Phone Interview' at a time I had already told them I was busy. The phone interview itself was pretty standard. I just wish the communication had been better throughout the whole thing.
- Can you walk me through your resume, and tell me about a challenge you encountered and how you dealt with it?
- Tell me about a challenge you faced and how you overcame it.
Project Engineer
So first, I had a phone screening with the recruiter. Then, there were two panel interviews. The first was with the director and HR. The second one was with the manager and a collaborator, but that one had to be rescheduled because they didn't show up.
- Could you tell me about a project you found particularly challenging?
