First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Neon Pagamentos.
Software Developer
I had an initial call with someone from the Talent team to discuss cultural alignment and expectations. Then, I spoke with a leader from the area about my experience, knowledge, communication skills, and career challenges. Both of these were pleasant, with excellent communication and guidance. Finally, there was a technical challenge stage that was extremely confusing and uncomfortable.
- Could you share about your past experiences and challenges faced?
- Tell me about your decision-making process and what you've learned.
- What mistakes have you made and what did you learn from them?
Information Security Analyst
From the first contact, when I was contacted by email and given more than one scheduling option for the first interview, I felt welcomed and treated with a professionalism I haven't seen in other processes, where all contact is made by WhatsApp. All contact was made by email, with clear and objective instructions on all the steps of the selection process, from start to finish. Of all the selection processes I've participated in, Neon's was, without a doubt, the most organized and structured.
- In a real-life scenario, how would you handle a security incident?
Credit Policy Analyst
The process had 4 stages: first, an HR call, then an interview with an Analyst from the area. After that, there was a Technical Interview, and finally, another person from the Area interviewed me. Throughout the entire process, I was very well supported and all my doubts were cleared. The interviews were smooth, and even though I didn't get an offer in the end, I felt good about participating and receiving feedback at each stage.
- Tell me about your day-to-day work.
- Describe how you conduct an analysis, and provide a real-life example of an analysis you performed and its outcome.
Analista Financeiro
I was approached by the recruiter on LinkedIn. Then we scheduled the next steps, which were to present the company and for me to introduce myself, a technical programming logic test, and a pair session to discuss a technical and theoretical problem with a solution. In the last stage, they told me more about the job and the project, saying I passed the process and would receive a proposal letter. Unfortunately, the position was frozen for 2 months, but they got back to me shortly after, asking if I was still interested. I loved how they really committed, as they said when the job opened up, I would be the first to be contacted.
- Describe a successful case where you made a difference.
