First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Neon Pagamentos.
Software Developer
I had an initial call with someone from the Talent team to discuss cultural alignment and expectations. Then, I spoke with a leader from the area about my experience, knowledge, communication skills, and career challenges. Both of these were pleasant, with excellent communication and guidance. Finally, there was a technical challenge stage that was extremely confusing and uncomfortable.
- Could you share about your past experiences and challenges faced?
- Tell me about your decision-making process and what you've learned.
- What mistakes have you made and what did you learn from them?
Software Engineer
First I spoke with a recruiter, then another round with the hiring manager for the role, and a technical System Design round. After a week without any response, I had to reach out to the recruiter to find out I was rejected by the approval committee, who alleged things about me without even talking to me. Basically, they'll summarize you and you won't even know who they are.

Software Engineer
I was contacted via LinkedIn and scheduling for the first stage was quick. They provided fast feedback after each step. There were many stages, but they were all very clear. They use AI during interviews to gather insights for later analysis. They required two women for the technical interview, and I am a woman. This made me feel more secure, as it guaranteed I would be evaluated based on my skills and not my gender.
