Training Specialist
The interview process was a real pain and honestly not well organized. There was a lot of waiting time between interviews, and some of the people interviewing me didn't seem prepared. On top of that, even though I joined the virtual interviews a few minutes early, the panel was consistently 10-15 minutes late to start each time.

- What's your understanding of our company?
Software Engineer
This was a humiliating and time-wasting experience. It involved a tedious and obscure home coding task where the recruiter wouldn't clarify requirements, which could have saved me hours. I didn't ask for hints, just a yes/no on edge cases. After two days of work, I got a one-line rejection email saying my code was "sub-standard." I doubt it was that bad, given my experience at Big Tech companies with good references. My submission followed industry standards like unit tests, clean code, design patterns, and async calls. Even if it wasn't perfect, they could have provided more constructive feedback.
- A home coding exercise was given that involved mathematical calculations operating on buffers.
Human Resources Assistant
First, you submit your application with a resume and cover letter, and then recruiters or hiring managers will screen them to see if you fit the job. After that, there's usually an initial screening phone interview with a recruiter to check your basic qualifications and if you're interested. Sometimes they might do a video interview instead. Then, you might have skills tests, which could be technical, coding, writing, or other relevant stuff. They might also give you psychometric tests, like personality or cognitive tests, to see if you fit the company culture and how you solve problems. The first round of interviews will likely be a technical interview to check your specific skills and knowledge, possibly a coding interview, case study, or practical test. You'll also have a behavioral interview where they'll ask you to use the STAR method to talk about how you've handled situations in the past.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What makes you want this job?
- What's your understanding of our company?
Test Engineer
Had a few people ask me questions about my experience. They also gave me a quick test to see if I knew stuff. Then they told me about the company and asked where they have offices. They answered my questions too.
- Can you tell me about your experience in this role and your previous work?
- Could you complete a brief assessment to demonstrate your knowledge?
- What information do you have about our company?
