Inside Sales Representative
I got a few emails asking for a phone interview. I talked with a recruiter for about 45 minutes. He said he needed to share what we talked about and my answers with the hiring managers for the next step and would get back to me within 1-2 days. It's been over 2 weeks and I still haven't heard back, even after 3 follow-ups from my side. As a professional, I expect to be treated like one and shown the respect of a response either way. Leaving a potential candidate hanging shows a real lack of appreciation for their time. I personally sent him a follow-up thank you email the same day as our interview and a subsequent phone follow-up 1 week later... still, no response.
- What are some typical interview questions for this role?
Sales
The interview process was pretty stringent as there was an initial phone interview with a recruiter and then the Sales Manager. A group panel interview took place next with two Sales Manager and then there was a final interview with a VP of Sales and another Sales Manager.
- Can you try to sell me something?
Sales
I talked to a few people, and honestly, some were more prepped than others. It felt a bit all over the place and not always connected to the actual job they were hiring for. It was a bit unprofessional. I didn't get any specific feedback, just that they went with someone else.
