I applied online and then a recruiter got in touch a few days later. First, I had a recruiter phone screen where we talked about my background and how it fit the job. I didn't get to ask any questions, which was weird. After that, I had a phone screen with the hiring manager a few days later. It was more of a chat - the manager told me about the company and role, asked some questions, and I asked some too. I thought it went well, but I guess not since I didn't get the job. I had to reach out to the recruiter weeks later to find out I was rejected.

Overall easy/average but a really long and tiring process, it took around 2 months. It started with a Technical Recruiter's standard email, then a phone screening with HR. After that, I had an on-site interview with five managers (1:1). I was then called again for a final set of interviews with three other senior/director level managers (1:1). It took another week and a half to inform me they were not moving forward with me. Pros: Good and relaxed atmosphere! I met some really kind and knowledgeable/smart people. I was told I would be a good fit for this position during the interview (Obviously, do NOT believe unless you get the offer in hand) - they are just nice people trying not to hurt you! Cons: The recruiter DO NOT follow-up quickly (that was the most frustrating part). You'll have to wait for a decade to get a reply from them. When I reached for the last two rounds of interview on-site -- Most of the interviewers were not available and were swapped by other managers. I had NO clue who I was going to meet next!! That reflected poor management/HR culture at the company.

I applied to be a Product Management Intern at Monster Government Solutions. The Recruiting Manager contacted me and was really helpful, answering all my questions quickly. The process was fast and it seemed like the managers communicated well. I had to reschedule my interview, and it wasn't an issue. I had a phone screening with the Director of Product Management, and then went to the office to meet her, the Product Marketing Manager, and the Manager of Business Systems Analysis. The recruiting manager prepped me and set clear expectations. The interview was formal but ended up being more relaxed than I thought it would be. Everyone was respectful, and I had a good experience. The whole thing, from being contacted to getting the offer, took about 3 weeks.
