I had an initial phone call which went fine, and was told I would receive a take-home task later that day. I didn't receive the task until two weeks later, yet I still completed and returned it the very same day. I received a "Thanks" a week later, but nothing else. I chased up two weeks after that, and the recruiter promised to come back to me that week. Another week passed, I asked for an update, and I have still not received a reply. A complete waste of time.

Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

First, there was a quick chat with HR to go over my background and see if I was a good fit for the company vibe. Then, I got a take-home assignment to show off my analytical and technical chops. After that, we had a technical chat to go through my assessment and talk about the methods I used and some core concepts. Finally, I met with some senior folks (VP/Director level) to talk about the bigger picture, business impact, and how I align with their goals.

Technical Coding Behavioral

The HR side of things felt really impersonal. It started with an HR screening where I just had to fill out a form without any intro. Then I got a coding assessment. The questions were basic, but a couple were about a programming language I don't know and hadn't mentioned. I emailed HR about this, but got no apology. After passing the assessment, I got an email to schedule an interview, but they didn't even ask for my availability. The technical interviewers seemed unprepared and only glanced at my CV. They had questions for a different programming language and said the job required it. They asked basic tech questions and gave a coding test, which felt like just killing time. It was a total waste of time.

Behavioral Technical Coding

Great interview process. The HR was very helpful and kept me informed. It started with an HR call about my skills, followed by a technical assessment. Then, I had a MS Teams call with the Manager and a Principal Software Engineer. After that, another MS Teams call with the Software Engineering Lead, and finally, a call with the Engineering Director. It was a very straightforward process, with mostly behavioral questions and some basic Java/C# questions. You should know your collections, data structures, algorithms, and OOP concepts.
