First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LexisNexis Legal & Professional.
Account Executive
I went through three interviews for this role. The process overall was pretty easy and simple. They communicated well at each step, and I didn't run into any problems. Every chat felt pretty organized and professional, making the whole thing a good experience.
- Can you outline your strategy for the initial three months at the company?
- Could you share some details about yourself and your professional journey?
Account Executive
So I applied, and then I heard back about a month later for a first call with HR. A few days later, I got an email to set up an interview with someone who was an AE in the region. We did that a few days after that. Then I got another email to set up a third interview with a different AE. I set that up for the same day as the second interview. Both of those AE interviews were pretty similar in what they asked. After talking to both of them, I waited about a week to hear back about a fourth interview, which was a longer phone call with the regional manager and another AE from the region. A couple days after that, I got invited for an in person interview in the city where the job is based, and they also had me do a personality test. The in person interview had a presentation where I had to be persuasive, and a role playing part, and then a panel interview with the regional manager and some other AEs. After the in person, I had one last interview with a different HR person. So, six interviews in total. Everyone was super nice, but the process was so draining and took so much time that not getting the job feels like a bigger letdown than it would have otherwise.
- You should be ready to present a solid 90-day business plan at the in-person interview, showing you understand the job description well.
Sales Executive
The hiring process was quite long, spanning 5 interview rounds with different people over a 6-month period. The recruiter wasn't great at giving updates, so it took a lot of patience and persistence to get through it.
- Can you describe your main duties in previous roles?
