First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LexisNexis Legal & Professional.
Sales Head
I attended my second interview at LexisNexis in their KL office in Bangsar South. The senior managers seemed unprepared, starting the session seven minutes late, which made me feel I was over-prepared in comparison. The office atmosphere was lifeless and unusually quiet for a sales floor. The MD came across as uninterested, argumentative, and excessively blunt. The questions asked were basic, and she emphasized the company's tough culture, intense reporting requirements, and extensive red tape. After a two-week wait with no communication, I had to follow up with the recruiter myself. I then received a generic rejection WhatsApp message stating the MD didn't see me as a "strong fit." It felt like a waste of time and energy on a poorly managed process.
- Could you describe your approach to handling underperformance within a sales team?
Sales Representative
interview with HR, then with the Hiring Manager. received a very positive feedback, but , after got ghosted, even though they HR told me I will have another interview, they never came back to me which is the first time happened to me, I believe a more honest and transparent approach can help the company's picture a lot!
- Generic questions about your motivation and personality fit.
Sales Representative
After a initial phone call, I interviewed with 3 managers of different levels. They're pretty selective.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a difficult task and describe your approach to handling it?
