The interview was pretty standard. The first part involved basic questions about Linux servers, covering things like performance issues, RAID, cloud, Vmware, and SUSE cluster recommendations. The second round focuses on principle-based management, which is really important, and they'll ask all sorts of scenario-based questions.

For interns, there are two interview rounds. The first is on campus, and the second is at headquarters. If you are from far away, you can do the second interview remotely. In the first round, most questions are about your past experiences, focusing on your character traits and how you'd use them in your studies or job. The second interview is similar, but might include job-specific or technical questions. Everyone is graded using a PBM rubric.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It's a bunch of interviews. Usually begins with a screening chat with the HR recruiter from the Wichita corporate office. The next round is normally a Teams video call with the hiring manager, plus a few other people. If you're applying for a specific production plant, they'll fly you out for an on-site interview, which usually involves 2-3 sessions with 2 people on the interview team. After that, someone shows you around the plant floor, through the actual production areas, to answer any questions you might have right there.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you describe a situation where you contributed to transforming a product or process in a past or current role?
