Recruiter
The interview process generally follows the standard procedure. It begins with a recruiter interview. If that goes well, you'll have a conversation with the hiring manager about the specifics of the position. If there's still mutual interest, then an onsite interview (or a Teams interview for those who are remote) will be set up. Usually, a hiring decision is made right after that final interview.
- Can you share instances where you challenged the status quo or encouraged others to improve safety, reduce costs, or increase efficiency?
Corporate Recruiter
I went through over 4 interviews with Koch/Georgia Pacific and got good vibes. They said I'd hear back by a certain date but I never did. It was a bummer because I spent a lot of time interviewing and was really keen on the company. I did like the recruiting teams and HR partners I met though. I just think they need to be more upfront with the timelines they give people.
- Can you share an instance where you received negative feedback from a manager?
- Describe a process that you implemented.
- Tell me about a challenging conversation you had with a manager.
Recruiting Coordinator
The process was good and professional. Lots of questions and stories were asked. It seemed like a good place to work, but unfortunately, I didn't get the job. It started with a pre-phone interview, followed by an in-person interview with different people and panels.
- So, tell me about yourself.
- Can you share an example of when you had to juggle many tasks at once?
- How do you decide what to work on when you have a lot of things to do?
