First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Iron Mountain.
Client Partner
I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn and had an initial call. This was followed by a first-round interview with the hiring manager. Both conversations were good and went well. I especially enjoyed talking to the hiring manager because they were friendly and made it feel very laid-back and conversational. After that, communication stopped. I followed up with the recruiter every week for about a month. They kept saying there were no updates, and then about a month later, they replied that all the roles had been filled. It felt a bit dismissive and unprofessional.

HR
I applied online and got an interview screen for the next week. The available times were unusual, mostly very early in the US Eastern Time zone. I assumed the recruiter was in the UK, which they were. The conversation was pretty standard for 30 minutes. It wasn't clear what they were looking for in this role. The company seemed pretty average and unexciting. They said it would be a long time before they got back to me, and they actually reposted the job opening two weeks after we spoke. I don't plan on applying again.

Training and Sales Enablement Manager
The interview process included 4 interviews total. I met with leadership from both the UK and USA, and they were really open with sharing their insights and feedback. Since the role is hybrid, they suggested doing one interview on-site. Overall, it was a good experience. If you're interviewing with them, make sure you're prepared to talk about how to measure impact.

Inside Sales Representative
Got contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn for the Tampa office, and there were three rounds. First was a quick call with the recruiter, then an interview with a manager. The last one was an onsite with role-play/mock demo. It was pretty clear how it would go, and the recruiter was cool. But the last interview was weird. The hiring managers seemed checked out, smirking and making faces like they had a private joke, while typing notes. Felt like they'd already decided no way, but they had to go through the motions. The process structure was fine, but their unprofessional vibe in the final round really made me rethink the company and culture. It's a bummer when you try hard and feel like they're not serious or already made up their mind. Good thing we didn't connect on this role, especially after seeing reviews about the culture.
