Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Iron Mountain.
Business Development Executive
First you meet with HR, and then you meet with your direct supervisor for three more times. All meetings are online. My advice is to ask questions! Ask lots of questions! Be clear about what is expected of you!
- Can you describe a situation where you successfully resolved an issue among stakeholders?
Business Development Executive
It was a thorough process. First, there was an initial in-person interview. Then, they set up about four online meetings. These included some people from my potential team and some senior managers in the broader department. They were checking my skills, experience, motivation, and if I'd be a good fit. It turns out this process helped build a really strong, collaborative team.
- What is your understanding of value-based selling?
Sales Executive
Applied through campus placement. A presentation was given to explain the company's profile, its international presence, growth plans for India, and the demand for its product here. The HR manager was open about the work environment and training provided. There were no tests, just the first round of interviews at college. The subsequent interview was conducted at their office.
- Could you tell us why you are interested in Iron Mountain and this specific role?
- How confident are you in presenting to a large audience?
- On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate your presentation skills and confidence?
