The first interview was a 60-minute conversation, informative and not stressful, covering my past experiences, Iron Mountain's work, and the role's responsibilities. The second interview was with a team, insightful and featured good questions. Before this, the recruiter, Bob Amico, had been in touch, answering my questions about what to expect. Although I didn't get the job, Bob called to inform me and provide feedback, which was impressive. This personal handling of the outcome was the best 'rejection' I've experienced, making me feel valued despite not being hired. Iron Mountain excels at providing feedback and reassurance.

I had one in-person interview for this role, meeting with the VP I would support and the Director. The interview lasted about 1.5 hours. Iron Mountain also requires a drug test and background check, which was the most inconvenient part. The office has about 500 employees, mostly long-term "campers" (10+ years) rather than "climbers." Sometimes it felt like working at Dunder Mifflin.
