First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ipsos.
Graduate Trainee
The Ipsos graduate trainee interview process typically involves an initial online application review, followed by aptitude or behavioural tests. Next, there's an HR interview and discussions based on technical or role-specific knowledge. It might also include group exercises or case studies before they verify your documents and extend an offer.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Do you have any questions about your CV?
Consultant
The interview process was pretty straightforward and not overly technical. It mainly covered regression, fundamental statistics, and the basics of coding languages such as Python and SQL. It would be beneficial to brush up on multiple linear regression and Excel skills beforehand.
- Could you explain regression and its different types?
- Tell me about multiple linear regression.
- What are the basics of statistics?
Research Analyst
So at Ipsos, first you'll chat with a recruiter over the phone, then there are online tests covering aptitude, skills, and cognitive abilities. After that, it's usually an in-person or video interview where you might do case studies or give presentations. They really want to know why you're into market research, if you have the right technical skills like SQL and Python, and basically if you'd be a good fit. The exact steps can change depending on the job, but they always check your analytical skills, how you handle things, and if you know your stuff for the specific role.
- Tell me about your background in Qualitative research and any emerging AI tech in that area.
Data Analyst
Super easy process. They stick to the basics, primarily focusing on linear regression. The interviewer was really helpful and not robotic at all. Though, honestly, getting to the next stage, even after a great interview, feels like it's mostly up to luck here.
- Can you explain linear regression?
- Tell me about business storytelling.
- Describe how you approached your project.
