In this online interview, we're gonna dive deep into statistics and machine learning. Expect a lot of questions on stuff like linear and logistic regression, correlation versus causation, and hypothesis testing (like p-values and confidence intervals). We'll also cover model evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, and talk about overfitting, underfitting, cross-validation, and the bias-variance tradeoff. It's not just about knowing the theory, but more about how you can actually use it – like interpreting results, picking the right models, checking your assumptions, and using statistical tests in the real world. You might get asked about regularization too, like Lasso and Ridge, the difference between Type I and Type II errors, and what to do with imbalanced datasets. Basically, you need to have a solid grasp of the concepts and be able to explain your thinking clearly.

This was a terrible experience, I'd never apply again. The interviewer was a rude woman who showed zero interest from the start. She was very aggressive and interrogative, and the questions were really cliche.

After applying, I had an interview with the recruiter, then an app-based test. After that, I had a remote interview with senior directors, and finally a face-to-face interview. It wasn't overly tough, just a lot of stages. The recruiter was really helpful in getting me ready for the later interviews.
