First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Indeed.
Account Executive
It was a pretty standard interview process. It started with 3 interviews, and then about a week later, there was a mock interview. First, I talked to my potential manager, then the head of sales, and after that, a sales team lead who told me about the day-to-day stuff. After those, I had a mock interview with the director of sales for my territory. They gave me the scenario a few days before and I had to do a live cold call. I got the offer about another week after that.

Talent Strategy Advisor
The interview process took about 30 days. First, I had a phone call in English with a recruiter from the US. A few days later, I spoke with the HRBP for the São Paulo office. The next step was a presentation of a case study in English for the Marketing Manager and Sales Director in SP, and the Area Director joined virtually. The final interview was with the Director I would report to. I thought it was a really positive experience, and the process was efficient with clear communication throughout.
- How do you think your past skills and experience can benefit Indeed?
Program Manager
The whole process took about four months from start to finish. The interviews themselves were okay, but it felt disorganized and I didn't feel like they were really paying attention to me. There were big delays, sometimes two weeks or more, between stages, and my recruiter wasn't very communicative. I even had to ask other recruiters for updates. When I did get info, he'd tell me to only talk to him, even though I'd already tried reaching him multiple times with no luck. After a bunch of interviews over several months, they said I was in the final stages and gave me good feedback. But then, after weeks of waiting and me following up, I just got a standard rejection email with no explanation. I tried one last time to get some feedback to learn from it, but like I expected by then, I never heard back. I get that not everyone gets an offer, and companies should hire who they think is best. But a clearer and faster process, especially at the end, would make things better for candidates. Also, some real feedback would be super helpful and a sign of respect after I put in so much effort for months. Since Indeed is all about helping people find jobs, I thought they'd be more people-focused, so I was pretty let down by how it all went down.

Tech Lead
The recruiter was super slow to get back to me, which ended up costing me the final interview. I used to work here for 6 years, then my whole department got laid off with no heads-up, even though they said layoffs weren't coming. Still, I wanted to come back. I had a good screen, a solid first round, and was set for the final round, but then they told me the next day they weren't interviewing me anymore because they'd already hired someone. Honestly, don't even bother with this company. It was great years ago, but the values have disappeared, the product sucks, and they keep having layoffs.
