They started with a take-home assignment that had about 10 questions asking about approaches and justifications. Then there was a video call with two or more interviewers where they asked about data structures, specifically merging lists with variations and the complexity of each. They also asked probability questions, like Bayes' theorem, and experiment design. I felt the interview went well because they kept increasing the difficulty with more variations. It did get tough with the 4th variation on data structures and recalling details for experiment design, but it seems they have high standards looking for someone skilled in software engineering, ML, and statistics. It was a good experience overall, and they were quick with feedback, avoiding long waits.

The recruiter called me and even though I wasn't super keen, they convinced me to try. Their interview process is quite rigid: First, I had a long call with the recruiter discussing the different steps. Then, I got a take-home assignment with a deadline of 7-10 days, and after I sent it back, they scheduled another interview. The emails mentioned it would be a deep dive into my resume, which ended up being the technical interview. During this interview (about an hour), they quizzed me on various data science topics: probability, coding, and ML. Honestly, I didn't enjoy it; it was really boring and felt like talking to robots. After that, there was one more round of interviews. Ultimately, I don't get why they give out take-home assignments if they don't even ask about them, calling it preparation for the technical interview which just had basic textbook questions I learned years ago. Everything was conducted online.

Started with a take-home assignment due in a week. I had to analyze a dataset and answer specific questions using a programming language of my choice, and there was also an open-ended question at the end. Then, there was a 1-hour technical interview. The final interview was also 1 hour, but it was split into two 30-minute interviews.
