The first interview was with Mary and it was a blast. We really hit it off. She asked a lot about my background and experience, focusing on my project management knowledge. Mary made the salary range clear: $55-$60K, which is lower than I'm used to. I was told I was moving to the next stage. The second stage was meeting Jane, the Senior Project Manager. We had a lot in common, education-wise. I mentioned I dislike micromanagement and value education and growth, which she agreed with. She ended the meeting saying they'd be in touch. I just heard back from Mary, they decided to go with other candidates who had stronger experience in their current focus areas, despite a lot of interest in the role.

So I had this one interview with their ECD and EDD, they were pretty tough and quiet, hard to read. Even though my background was a perfect fit, I didn't get the job, for some reason. They didn't give me any feedback, or a second interview, or a freelance contract. They've been looking for this role for about 3 months now, and tons of recruiters have mentioned it. It feels like they're looking for a super specific person, and being really aggressive about it. Honestly, I think it's a red flag when a company hires based on personality, it just creates a very exclusive culture.

I made it to the third interview round, but stopped the process because my job search direction changed. They seemed to be planning for two more interviews. The whole experience was pretty standard and everyone I met was really nice and professional. Things moved fast because they were keen to hire someone quickly and, as the recruiter said, they 'really liked me.' The second interview was with the directors and lasted about 40 minutes. They focused a lot on my past experience and how I'd fit into the team. The third interview was supposed to be with the rest of the team members. It felt like even though they wanted to fill the role fast, they were really looking for someone who would collaborate well with everyone in the group. Overall, the interview process made me want to work at Huge and with that team specifically.

The initial interview was with the GVP of Resource Management, a casual and pleasant conversation about expectations and experience. This led to further interviews with her team the following week. That day involved three interviews and a data test, lasting about 3 hours in total. The interviews were thorough and more traditional. I was told the GVP was on vacation, they were interviewing others the next week, and I'd hear back early the second week. After no word by Tuesday, I followed up Wednesday, then again the following week, with no response. The process was positive until they ghosted me, which was unprofessional, especially after the time invested and the test. A simple email saying 'we decided to go in another direction' would have sufficed. This lack of communication makes me hesitant to recommend the company.
