First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Huge.
User Experience Lead
I was contacted via LinkedIn for a senior-level position in NYC. My interest was piqued, so we scheduled a call. The recruiter was friendly and easy to chat with, clearly enthusiastic about Huge and knowledgeable about UX. We discussed my portfolio, their design process, and job duties. I didn't move forward due to relocation timing, but overall it was a positive experience.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
User Experience Designer
Had two interviews, each about 30 mins. First was with the design lead, then the partner. We talked about two design projects and I answered some questions about them.
- For each web page, what is the "call to action"?
UX Designer
The recruiter took about 2 months to get in touch. After a quick chat, I had a meeting with a UX lead. The next step involved meeting a group of creative people, with each meeting lasting about 30 minutes. I got to the final stage, but they decided to go with someone else in the end. The whole experience was nice, and everyone was really friendly and helpful.
- How do you stay updated with design trends?
