So I had this one interview with their ECD and EDD, they were pretty tough and quiet, hard to read. Even though my background was a perfect fit, I didn't get the job, for some reason. They didn't give me any feedback, or a second interview, or a freelance contract. They've been looking for this role for about 3 months now, and tons of recruiters have mentioned it. It feels like they're looking for a super specific person, and being really aggressive about it. Honestly, I think it's a red flag when a company hires based on personality, it just creates a very exclusive culture.

The interview process wasn't super organized except for the first round. It was a video call with an ECD, and it went well. We talked about my background and the company, and then I showed some of my work. I didn't hear back for two weeks, so I checked in with the agent. The next day, I got scheduled for the next round the following day. I couldn't do it that day because I was abroad, so we scheduled it for mid-January because of holidays. The second interview was supposed to be in person with a senior designer at their studio. I got there 5 minutes early, but the interviewer was an hour late and only let me know via text right before. I waited at the studio for him, and the interview eventually started. It was pretty similar to the first interview, but he seemed to not know I'd already met with the ECD and wasn't sure which role I was up for.
