This was my dream role and opportunity and no matter how much I showed enthusiasm and interest along with my prior work experience that would help me do this role, the interview itself was very robotic. They scheduled my interview a week after they first reach out to me, no recruiter call or information on the interview process. Then after the interview, it took them another week just to reject me. They completed just wasted my time and I feel like everything they asked me during the interview were really basic questions they could have just used my resume and auto-rejected me instead of crushing my soul like this

This was a waste of time. It was a 1.5-hour HackerRank test with SQL and pandas questions. The SQL question was difficult, requiring Join, Case, and Coalesce. The pandas question involved calculating some KPIs. It wasn't technically difficult but easy to make mistakes on. Everything is optimized to auto-calculate a score and test many candidates, which just wastes candidates' time. The worst part is the outcome: no feedback from HackerRank on pass/fail, no score, nothing. Flatiron sends an auto-rejection email that isn't even formatted correctly, without mentioning any score. If you invest 1.5 hours, they should at least provide the automatically calculated score.

I got a take-home assignment to finish in 3-5 business days. It wasn't coding, but more about checking quality, interpreting data, and assessing methods. It was doable with a good science background. Then, I had an online interview with a senior team member. It was a pleasant, scripted interview. First, they asked about my background, education, and experience. Then, we discussed the take-home assignment, how it related to my past work, if I'd faced similar challenges, and my familiarity with real-world data. Finally, we talked about my questions and the next steps, which included a coding test, a clinical data analysis test, and a behavioral interview, making it 4 rounds total. I didn't move on, but I got feedback within a week, and the talent acquisition team was responsive and helpful throughout. Overall, it was a positive experience.

I applied online and got a message from a Candidate Lead about a 'take home assignment' which they said shouldn't take more than 2 hours. The document had some typos, misspelling the company name, and was split into 3 parts. I'm not sure what the next steps are because I didn't move forward, but for a job focused on employer brand, talent attraction, and candidate experience, this felt a bit inconsiderate of my time, especially since I didn't even get to talk to anyone. The feedback was also mixed; they said my strategy lacked budget considerations, but budgeting wasn't asked for or mentioned in the prompt.
