The interview process involved a coding and behavioral assessment. It was generally easy, and the interviewers were friendly. Candidates should expect an online coding test and a walkthrough of their resume. There are approximately 3-4 rounds in total.

The interview process was a bit unusual. I only communicated with the recruiter via email, and some initial emails seemed automated. Before speaking with anyone, I had to complete an analysis using provided datasets and answer some questions. After passing this initial stage, I received an automated email to schedule the next round. Once I submitted my availability, I was emailed to schedule the second round, which was set for three weeks later, seeming quite delayed. The recruiter then emailed to inform me about a live coding test during the phone call with a team member for the second round. The interview with the team member went well, and the interviewer was very pleasant! The coding test itself was straightforward and not difficult. Two days after the interview, I received an automated rejection or notification about other candidates moving forward, which felt odd as it came from a 'do-not-reply' email address and not the recruiter. While the overall process wasn't terrible, it was strange to never actually speak with a recruiter before the interviews or when I was ultimately rejected.

So the first thing was a technical test, like a take-home. They sent over a test with a bunch of practical questions, and I had 3 days to finish it. No specific program was required, so I could use R, Stata, or SAS. It was mostly about merging and splitting datasets, and then showing descriptive results with tables and graphs. It was a pretty practical and smart way to test things.
