I recently worked with Acme Corp on a complex software project, and I'm extremely pleased with the results. From the initial consultation to the final product, their team demonstrated exceptional expertise and a commitment to quality. The project was delivered on time and within budget, which is a testament to their efficient project management. The developers were responsive and proactive in addressing our needs, and the communication was always clear and transparent. While the software itself is fantastic, I would suggest a slight improvement in the user interface for enhanced usability. Overall, I highly recommend Acme Corp to anyone seeking reliable and innovative software solutions. Their professionalism and dedication truly set them apart.

So first, they looked at my resume and stuff to see if I even qualified. Then, if that looked good, we had a quick chat over the phone or video to see if I was a good fit and could talk okay. After that, if I did well, I went to their office for a longer talk with some of the team. Sometimes, you have to talk to a whole group of people all at once, like a panel. They also might give you a test to see if you can actually do the job, like a coding challenge or something. If you make it through all that, there's a final interview with maybe the hiring manager or someone higher up. Then, they check your references to see if you're legit. If everything checks out, they'll offer you the job!

This was a complete waste of time. It wasn't a direct interview for the job, but more of an 'informative interview.' I get that this happens sometimes with staffing agencies, but they were deceptive about it on the phone. After filling out forms for 20 minutes, I talked to someone who was condescending and rude about my qualifications. She didn't even say I wasn't being considered; she tried to get me to register for future jobs. I had to ask to find out I was rejected. They probably discriminated against me because I had to mention an injury from last year when asked about a job gap. The interview wasn't even private; a coworker was in the same room and had to jump in when I pushed back about being underqualified. They tried to fix it and were more professional, but then they said they'd have to train me, which is weird since the agency doesn't do that. Lots of other staffing agencies are more upfront. Express just wants to sign up as many people as possible for irrelevant jobs. They should do their job and actually check qualifications before interviewing.

I was disappointed with the lack of professionalism of the recruiters at Express Employment. The recruit quickly set me up with an interview at United Way for a position I was ill-matched for, and I had an angry interview at the company insult me and quickly rejected me for the role. I followed up with the recruiter on the phone and complained about my bad experience. The recruiter blew me off and told me she did not believe my story. I was greatly disappointed with my experience with Express Employment and would not recommend it to others as an effortless way to find work quickly. The Staff agency does not seem to take pride in finding good fits and helping the customers with their job search.
