Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Express Employment Professionals.
Production Worker
When I arrived, I was given a short assessment test that lasted about ten minutes. After finishing that, I met with someone for the interview. The interview consisted of typical interview questions, and the interviewer was very pleasant and professional. They also conducted a drug test, and I was finished in under an hour.
- Can you share one of your strengths and one of your weaknesses?
- What is your availability in terms of working hours?
Packer
You gotta fill out an application on the computer first. Then you gotta call 'em to let 'em know you did that. They'll ask what job you're going for and where. If they think you're a good fit, they'll set you up for a time to come in for drug testing and a quick chat about your availability. If you can work when they need you, you'll leave with a job right then and there.
- Can you physically handle the duties of the job you applied for?
Warehouse Worker
The company sends you to jobs that hire them, then they spam you with texts for weeks about other available jobs. They pay you next to nothing on a trial basis. It's better to go directly to companies.
- Can you tell me about your availability?
