Behavioral Presentation

I had 2 phone interviews with the owner. Then my first in person was with the same owner. She liked me and set me up to meet the office manager. She was a bitter lady, cold and uninterested. I was supposed to hear back from the owner for a final interview with the co-owner. After a week of no news, I emailed the owner, expressing my interest and my feeling that the office manager's judgment caused the delay. I was right. The owner still brought me in to meet the co-owner, who was very impressed. He said he loved me and I was what they needed, but the office manager responded negatively. They said they'd call me, but never did. They hired someone else and reposted the job within 3 months.

Met with the owner and the team for a few rounds of interviews. The questions were pretty straightforward. They really stressed culture/team fit, and asked about my sales experience, industry knowledge, market experience, networking organizations of interest, and marketing/recruitment experience. Nothing too wild.

It was a short interview, straight to the point. They wanted to know about my sales experience and if I had experience in territory sales. They seemed really focused on how I'd work with the existing office team. They didn't give much detail about what the job actually entailed.
