Software Engineer
Recruiter cold messaged me on LinkedIn. The interview process started with a coding round called Code Craft. After that, the final round was supposed to include Debugging, AI Code Craft (a new type of interview using prompt engineering for coding questions), a Behavioral interview with the hiring manager, and a System Design interview with Domain Knowledge. Unfortunately, I got rejected right before the System Design part, and they only let me know a day after the interviewer missed the scheduled slot. All the interviewers I interacted with seemed really checked out and low energy, not like interviewers at other companies, including the HM. So, even if I had gotten an offer, I wouldn't have been too sure about accepting it.

Business Process Analyst
I went through the interview process for a Business Process Analyst role and it was pretty good. It started with a chat with the recruiter. Then I had a 30-minute talk with the hiring manager, which was about my background and if I'd be a good fit, and it was pretty chill and interesting. If you pass that, you get a case study to work on about making an inventory management solution better. You have to think about user stories, how to track the project, reporting, and the main things to measure. The last step is a round with different people from the team.

Support Supervisor
I went through the interview process for a Senior Support Supervisor role. First, there was a 30-minute chat with the hiring manager about background, experience, and general fit; it was a good and easy talk. Those who passed that step got a case study about support operations, metrics, and problem-solving. The case study needs good reasoning, prioritizing, and turning data into practical improvements. I didn't get past the case study, and I wasn't given any feedback. The process is structured and matches the job, but candidates need to show strong analytical and quantitative skills, plus a clear, confident approach in their written answers.

Senior Security Analyst
The interview process was pretty standard. The first call was with someone in Mexico, which was weird for a US-based role. She couldn't answer basic questions about the reporting structure. Interestingly, I didn't meet any white US males among the eight people I interacted with; it felt like a very targeted DEI initiative rather than actual diversity. Most people were nice, except the new CISO. He was late to our interview, so I couldn't ask him any questions. It's notable that many people have left since he joined, and I can see why. He had the nerve to ask me why I haven't stayed long in my past roles, even after I explained I was laid off, despite his own career history showing frequent job changes. I suspect this might be why I wasn't selected, as the conversation was going well until then. The recruiters said I'd hear back by Friday, then I got an email at midnight pushing it to Monday, and I found out on Wednesday I didn't get the job. They really don't respect people's time.
- Could you explain your reasons for not staying longer in your previous positions?
