Behavioral Technical Case

I submitted my application online and received an offer after a total of four interviews, which included one recruiter screen and three additional rounds. The entire hiring process spanned a month from application to offer. The final interview was a role-play of a sales call. The other interviews were a combination of behavioral and technical questions. Since this role was for a new team, there was a greater emphasis on behavioral questions to assess cultural fit rather than just adherence to existing metrics or playbooks. The last round was intentionally more challenging, designed as a stress test with tougher questions. The recruiters were very communicative and kept the process moving smoothly, providing preparation tips before the role-play and following up after the final interview before extending the offer.

It started with a regular screening interview, then a video interview with a regional manager. The third round was a video role-play exercise, where they gave me the situation beforehand. The florida manager was a total narcissist, I was shocked. He said he hadn't made a mistake in the last year when I asked him. He was like one of those old school mad men types, really common in sales.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process involved about 4 steps. It started with a recruiter call to discuss the role, followed by a manager call. Next, there was a role-play exercise, and it concluded with a final interview with a senior manager. The process seemed straightforward until the very end. After I reached the final round, the recruiter sent a generic email stating they weren't moving forward, which was fine. However, the recruiter then stated, "It is against company policy to provide feedback." This felt like a major cop-out and lacked professionalism. We candidates invest time and effort preparing for interviews, and after a 3-week process, all I received was a generic response and the recruiter avoiding my calls and emails when I just wanted to understand how I could improve. This was an unprecedented and unprofessional experience. DoorDash is a great company with strong leadership, but they should treat job seekers with more respect; we deserve at least that much consideration.
