Started with a recruiter screen, then a 48-hour case study. After that, I had a session with the manager covering SQL questions and a behavioral/analytics exercise overview, which immediately followed by a 30-minute case interview with the senior manager. The interviews weren't too difficult, and we had great conversations. I'm waiting to hear about the next steps, and it took five days to get a response after the case.

DoorDash found me on LinkedIn and reached out. The HR call with Javier lasted 20 minutes and he was awkward about the low salary, then claimed the role was "remote-ish" but described a hybrid setup needing 3 days in the NYC office, which was misleading. He said there were only "three rounds" but then listed more than three. After that, he sent the case study, which I spent hours on, only to be rejected the next day for a job I didn't apply for. It was chaotic, misleading, and toxic; they reach out, string people along, and then reject them after making them do work.

I had an intro call with the hiring manager, followed by a take-home data analysis project. Then, there were two interviews with hiring managers, one focused on behavioral questions and the other on case-like questions (though not a formal consulting case). After that, I had two interviews with skip-level managers, again one behavioral and one case-type questions. I was rejected after these last two interviews. The role was reposted on LinkedIn shortly after, suggesting they didn't hire anyone. Be cautious with DoorDash; their hiring process is extensive and quite long, and they have some odd practices.
