The interview process was good. They mostly asked scenario-based questions related to the project. There were two technical rounds and one managerial round. The first round had mostly basic, mid-level, and some tricky questions. The second round focused on scenario-based questions.

It was pretty straightforward. They hit me with some technical questions about testing, focusing a lot on functional testing. Then we moved on to questions about agile and waterfall, and testing tools. They were keen to know about Selenium and any other tools I'm familiar with and could demonstrate my expertise in.

I had a really bad experience with Cybage Software. An HR person called me in November 2024 about a job that matched my experience. They told me upfront there's a 1-year bond, it's a totally desk job, work from office only, and shifts are involved with no shift allowance. I agreed to all these conditions. The HR person mentioned there would be 4 rounds in total: 2 technical, 1 HR, and 1 client round. I cleared the first two technical rounds. Then, they asked me to confirm the conditions via email, which I did, and they said the client round would follow. After that, they conducted the HR round, collected all my documents via email, and discussed my CTC breakout. I thought I was selected at this point because they had all my documents. However, I didn't clear the client round, and they told me I was rejected. While rejection is fine, the really bad part is that if there's a client round, it should have happened *before* the HR round. This was a major mistake on their part. The whole process took almost a month. The interview process wasn't good, and I don't think they have a standard procedure. It was the worst interview experience I've had with any company. Please check this post before considering joining Cybage; their HR policies are also quite strange.

First, I had a recruiter call. Then came Round 1: Technical Interview, which I cleared. Next was Round 2: HR Round, which I also cleared and got a provisional salary structure. Round 3 was supposed to be a Client Round, but after the HR mentioned it, their phone was switched off and they stopped responding to emails. It was a totally horrible experience.
