First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cybage Software.
QA Engineer
It was pretty straightforward. They hit me with some technical questions about testing, focusing a lot on functional testing. Then we moved on to questions about agile and waterfall, and testing tools. They were keen to know about Selenium and any other tools I'm familiar with and could demonstrate my expertise in.
- What are your thoughts on testing concepts?
- Could you explain functional testing?
- Can you describe your understanding of Agile and Waterfall?
QA Manager
Need at least 8 years managing QA teams. There are 4 rounds total. The first two are technical interviews, the third is managerial, and the last one is HR. After that, they'll make an offer. If things go smoothly, it can all happen in about a week.
- Can you give us an overview of yourself?
- What projects have you worked on?
- Can you describe the architecture of projects you've been involved with?
QA Analyst
So I went for a referral walk-in and we were all told the interview process would be done the same day. About 100 out of 500 candidates were selected and it all took about 4-5 hours. The interview had three rounds: two technical and one HR. I was supposed to be called for the HR round the next day since it was 7 pm and there was no panel. But I haven't heard back yet. It's confusing why they'd select so many people if they couldn't finish interviews that day. I need an explanation for being there from 7:30 am to 7 pm.
- What are some basic manual testing questions?
