Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cybage Software.
Senior Test Engineer
It was a two-round interview. The first was a technical round, focusing on skills and profile match. The second round was managerial based.
- Can you discuss your experience with TestComplete automation testing?
Test Engineer
It was pretty straightforward to get through. The main things to focus on were Java, OOPS concepts, and your projects. I got through all the stages, but there was a GD at the end which was a bit tricky and not everyone made it. Just stay calm, because nothing is truly impossible to crack. The aptitude section was easy, and for Cybage, you'll also need to write an essay. They were offering 3.2 LPA. The online test had 3 sections; just make sure you manage your time well. The first section is an essay on any topic you choose, the second is arithmetic, and the third is verbal.
- Tell me about your experience with Java.
- Can you explain your understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)?
- Discuss a project you've worked on.
Software Test Engineer
Went through two technical rounds and one HR round. After clearing the interviews, I was told the project is on hold and no offer was given.
- Could you explain smoke and sanity testing?
