The interview process involved questions about your past work experience, covering your roles and responsibilities. You were also asked about concepts of Agile Methodology and your understanding of the Broadband/Mobile/PSTN portfolio. A key part was explaining the end-to-end journey of one of these portfolios, including the step-by-step process for a use case, and identifying the components involved and their functions.

The start of the interview process felt pretty good, like it was organized. But then communication just dropped off completely, no updates, no feedback for ages. The "Experience Day" was really uncomfortable because the manager made fun of someone right in front of everyone. And the final interview was weird; I had to do a 5-minute presentation, but the manager just sat there, didn't even look. The rest was just a strict Q&A, no real chat. I got the rejection email 12 days later, super late, with zero explanation. They really need to communicate better between steps, give feedback, and make sure managers aren't being unprofessional. It gives a bad vibe about the company culture.

I got an international call I ignored thinking it was a scam, but it was an outsourced team. Then I had a basic, time-wasting informal chat with a manager in Manchester. After that, a structured 30-minute Teams interview with the Head of Talent Acquisition went well, but was too short to really impress or ask much. They said I'd hear back in a couple of days. A week later, I had to chase them for feedback with no reply. Two weeks after the interview, I got an email with no greeting making weak excuses for the delay. They gave me scores for answers that didn't match the questions asked, then a generic rejection saying they found someone better suited, without a real reason. They claimed BT has a candidate-focused process, but the delay, poor rejection reason, and lack of contact after two weeks showed otherwise. The manager also seemed to have a top-down approach, not valuing their team.
