BT Group Associate Interview Questions

It starts with an English and Math competency test, lasting about half an hour. Then, you'll get a presentation about BT, covering its history, contributions, and towers. Make sure to focus on the towers section, understanding the significance of each tower as a type of support within the CDSS organization. Next, you'll work on a case study in a group with other candidates and present your solutions. This group case study is the crucial point for moving forward. After that, there's an interview with Team Managers. The final stage is an HR interview with a recruiter, which will involve behavioral questions.

I applied for this job via the career site and went through the interview process. The HR mentioned there were 4 phases. The first was an aptitude test, which I passed. The second was an Extempore round, which was quite easy and I cleared it. The third was the operation round 1. For this role, you need to be good with numbers. My interview was going well until they asked about pivot tables. I know it well and have practiced sums on it, but I got confused and nervous and couldn't recall it. There were also some maths and accounting questions. I knew all the answers, but due to immense pressure and nervousness, I couldn't answer them and got rejected in this round. The managers and HR were really nice and helpful. I'll try again after 6 months. It's a great company, but the interview process is tough compared to others. For freshers, there's a 15-month contract (not a bond). The salary is fixed with no bonuses or incentives. It's a 24/7 work environment with no fixed holidays, you get 2 days off per week, decided by them.

The entire process took 3 hours and was at a medium level. The management was helpful. There were 4 rounds in total: a written extempore, an Operations round, an HR round, and a background check. Salary negotiation was not part of the process.
