Candidate-reported interview process

Started with a recruiter chat about the job and my background, then dove into a live coding session and a system design part. The coding involved standard DSA problems of medium difficulty on a shared platform. The system design focused on building a scalable backend and discussed trade-offs. The interviewers were cool, gave me enough time to think. It was pretty much a typical senior SWE interview, nothing too crazy or special. Left feeling pretty neutral about it.

It was just a remote interview, unfortunately I didn't pass because I didn't have the experience they wanted. But they didn't even give me a chance to learn the role. It's hard to compete for a JR role that requires experience...

Really liked the interview process, the people were super nice. They were really insightful during the interview and were cool with rescheduling. They kept in touch the whole time and answered my questions right away. I'd say you should apply.
