Candidate-reported interview process

First we talk to the Recruiter, then the hiring manager. After that, there's a take home assignment. The next part is back-to-back with 4 peers, and finally a meeting with the skip level manager. It's a very qualitative interview.

I spoke with the recruiter and honestly, they seemed frustrated and impolite the whole time. I noticed the job posts for these roles have been up for a while, and I wonder if the front-line recruiters are part of the reason why, especially since there are so many talented people looking for jobs. It's pretty disappointing that recruiters can talk to potential candidates like that. I think the company itself has a lot to offer, but having someone get frustrated and snap at you during an interview isn't a good way to make candidates feel welcome.

The interview experience was alright. The interviewers seemed a bit preoccupied during our talks, checking their screens and taking long pauses after I spoke. But, the whole thing moved pretty quickly.
