Candidate-reported interview process

I had a recruiter call where they talked about the company and then mentioned remote/hybrid options. I expressed interest in remote roles, but we didn't move forward, possibly because their remote policy wasn't what I was looking for.

The interview process was quite long, starting with a recruiter screen and then a conversation with the hiring manager. Following that, there were interviews focused on product sense and analytics/metrics. The process concluded with interviews with the VP of Product and the CPO. I felt it was longer than necessary, and I found it quite strange that I didn't speak with anyone from engineering, which I had to specifically ask for.

There were 6 rounds in total. It started with a recruiter screen, then moved to product sense and product execution interviews with other PMs. After that, there were two behavioral interviews with the hiring manager. The last interview was a behavioral one with the CPO. In the end, they decided not to hire for the level I applied for. The company is working on some cool stuff, and the team seems really into solving the challenges. The recruiter was great, setting up prep calls before each interview to give me a heads-up on what to expect.
