Candidate-reported interview process

Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn for an initial call. Then I interviewed with the hiring manager, who was really rude and disorganized. She had to leave mid-interview to find a charger for her laptop. She asked questions that didn't match the job description and got defensive when I asked about the company's financial losses, saying she couldn't share info that's already public. I knew I didn't want to work for her after that, so the rejection wasn't a shock. The rejection email was weirdly AI-generated with placeholders like [candidate name] and [company name].

They gave clear instructions and a guide to help prepare for the interview. However, they didn't give much time to get ready for the second round. The guide was useful for the first round.

I had an online interview with HR at 8x8 for a Market Operations role. We talked about my background, skills, and if I was interested in the job. Also, they wanted to know what I knew about the company and its business.
