Behavioral Coding System Design

This was easily the best interview process I've experienced! Everyone was super friendly and professional, and communication was smooth. The interview questions were challenging and interesting, and the interviewers were great. They got back to me really quickly between interviews, and it felt really personal and welcoming, almost like I was a VIP. What really stood out was that they didn't just try to hire me, but instead figured out how I could best contribute to both myself and the company. They reached out for a chat and even suggested a small adjustment to the role I was looking for, which was actually perfect for me!

Got an email from Yotpo, not a call. Alex.ai was supposed to interview me for 30 mins but it ended up being over an hour. I thought it was cool Yotpo was using AI to reduce bias and make screening applicants easier. But after the long interview, I never heard back. No thank you or update on what happened with my info. Still haven't heard back, which I didn't expect after all the effort I put in. It felt like the AI was just there to save the recruitment team time talking to candidates. I wouldn't apply to Yotpo again. It's not about not getting an offer, it's upsetting to invest time and not even get an acknowledgement.

Behavioral Presentation Case

I started with a phone screen, then had a 45-minute Zoom interview. After that, I was supposed to present a project to a group panel. But they surprised me by cutting my presentation time from an hour to 30 minutes and were late, so I had to rush. I was rejected after the assignment stage and didn't get any feedback on my presentation or why I wasn't chosen. It's frustrating to put in hours of work and get a generic rejection saying they went with someone else more aligned with the role. It's inconsiderate to ask for uncompensated work and not provide proper feedback, especially when I asked for it.

Behavioral

I was really looking forward to interviewing with Yotpo. After having some good recruiter meetings with other places, this one with this recruiter made me feel super down. It felt like she'd already decided I wouldn't move forward and started firing questions without letting me respond, which was awkward and put me on the spot - and I'm usually a pretty confident interviewer. It seemed like she didn't care what I said, no matter how well I explained it. She was very dismissive and made me feel not good enough. Some kindness or basic people skills would have been nice, since the job search is tough, which recruiters should know. It's really put me off the company now.
