This was easily the best interview process I've experienced! Everyone was super friendly and professional, and communication was smooth. The interview questions were challenging and interesting, and the interviewers were great. They got back to me really quickly between interviews, and it felt really personal and welcoming, almost like I was a VIP. What really stood out was that they didn't just try to hire me, but instead figured out how I could best contribute to both myself and the company. They reached out for a chat and even suggested a small adjustment to the role I was looking for, which was actually perfect for me!

The HR team was really uncoordinated, and I had to do the same interview twice without any reason given. They also added another interview in the middle of the process even though they had already explained everything to me before, and still no reason why. The times and formats for interviews kept changing without asking me. I did a home assignment and two technical interviews, then they rejected me saying my resume wasn't a good fit for the role.

The process had two interviews with the R&D group lead, followed by two more with team leaders. The group lead was okay, but didn't seem to read my resume well. He first said I lacked backend experience, which I agreed with, but then also claimed I had no frontend experience, despite my resume saying I was a frontend lead. This felt a bit rude. The team lead interviews were very focused on the negatives, and they looked unhappy. One of them even said, "how someone like you, who works for a company that is all legacy knows any new technologies whatsoever?". That was rude, but I answered. Basically, Yotopo seems like a company that doesn't get that an interview is a two-way street.
