First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Yotpo.
Marketing Manager
I started with a phone screen, then had a 45-minute Zoom interview. After that, I was supposed to present a project to a group panel. But they surprised me by cutting my presentation time from an hour to 30 minutes and were late, so I had to rush. I was rejected after the assignment stage and didn't get any feedback on my presentation or why I wasn't chosen. It's frustrating to put in hours of work and get a generic rejection saying they went with someone else more aligned with the role. It's inconsiderate to ask for uncompensated work and not provide proper feedback, especially when I asked for it.
- Given sample data, what 1-2 campaigns would you suggest to improve the identified gaps or areas?
- Based on the provided sample data, outline 1-2 campaigns you would implement to address gaps or improve performance.
Partner Marketing Manager
The interview process was really good overall. I talked to 6 people at the company and they were all really nice and knew their stuff. A lot of the interviews felt more like conversations than interviews, which made it a better experience. It seemed like they were more interested in getting to know me as a person rather than just focusing on my experience. I also appreciated how open they were about everything, including how the process would go and any concerns they had about me fitting the role.
- I don't recall any specific questions that stood out.
Marketing Manager
I went through a 5-stage interview process at Yotpo. It was pretty intense. I had to do a task that took a lot of my time. In the last round, they gave me lots of compliments on my research, saying it was 'straight to the point,' and that I did a great job with amazing energy. I was really hopeful. But then a week later, HR sent a generic email saying they picked someone else, with no explanation. I tried to get feedback, but they just ignored me. It's super frustrating that Yotpo would waste someone's time and effort like that and not even give feedback. They clearly don't value candidates' time. If you're thinking about applying, be ready for them to potentially disregard your effort.
- Can you describe how you measure your performance in your current position?
