Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Yotpo.
Talent Acquisition Partner
The interview process was challenging, thorough, and very thought-provoking! It really showed how much Yotpo invests in their employees' onboarding, training, and development to make sure the role is a good fit for both the candidate and the company, now and in the future. After an initial phone screen, I went on-site to meet the Head of Talent, other Talent team members, VPs, and C-suite. Part of the on-site involved a sourcing strategy assignment that I had to prepare and present. I also got to ask questions to different stakeholders, which gave me insights from various parts of the business. This was super helpful for the final stage in deciding if Yotpo was the right place for me. When scheduling the many stages, the talent team was really attentive and flexible with my schedule, arranging meetings virtually or in person. All the interviewers seemed well-briefed, so I didn't have to repeat myself, and each conversation covered different aspects related to me, the role, and the company's broader strategy and culture. This approach made for a really well-rounded and insightful interview process.
- What challenges do you anticipate when moving from an external agency role to an in-house position?
Talent Acquisition Manager
I applied and on the same day, a manager reached out to schedule a call. We had the call, and at the end, they said they'd consider the next steps and inform me. However, I never heard back, not even a rejection.
- Could you please introduce yourself?
- Let's review my resume together.
Technical Recruiter
The interview process was pretty straight forward. I had a phone screen and really clicked with the person I spoke with! Next, they sent me a type of candidate to look for for a certain role that we would go over in person for my second round interview. I ended up not moving forward because I got an opportunity I couldn’t refuse but looking back really wish I still went. The people seemed so nice!
