The hiring process included three rounds: a VI test, an HR interview, and an interview with the hiring manager. The scheduling was a bit challenging — for example, the HR team often rescheduled interviews on very short notice, sometimes the evening before the interview, and without any acknowledgment. During the final interview, the hiring manager came across as somewhat condescending, making it feel like the candidate should be grateful for the opportunity to be interviewed.

After applying, I was contacted for an interview in under a week. The hiring process involved a video recorded interview using Hirevue. Initially, I had some trouble with the tech, as it wouldn't work on my laptops, only my phone and tablet. The interview had a 2-minute intro video, which could be redone unlimited times, followed by 5 mandatory questions. Each question had 3 retake options, and I had time to prepare answers before recording. I ended up taking most of the day to complete it instead of doing it all at once. A week later, I received a rejection.

The hiring process began with a video interview, then a hiring manager interview, and concluded with an HR interview. There was a one- to two-week break between the video interview and the hiring manager interview. After that, things moved pretty fast. The hiring manager interview was more about technical stuff and role-specific questions. The HR interview was more about working together, teamwork, and how you work. Communication was good the whole way through, and it was a good experience.

So, first I had to intro myself and talk about my education, skills, and why I wanted the job. Then, they got into my past jobs. They asked about projects I worked on, what I did in them, and how they turned out. They also asked about problems I had and how I solved them. They asked some questions too, like what I'm best at. I talked about what I'm good at and what I've accomplished. They also wanted to know about big career challenges and how I handled tough situations and what I learned. It was a pretty thorough check to see if I'd be a good fit.
